Thierno a \u00e9tudi\u00e9 le droit, la science politique et les relations internationales \u00e0 Paris (La Sorbonne et Assas) et est ancien \u00e9l\u00e8ve de l’Ecole Nationale d’Administration (ENA) en France, promotion Ren\u00e9 Cassin (2001-2003). Il a plus d’une vingtaine d’ann\u00e9es d’exp\u00e9rience professionnelle dont dix huit \u00e0 Bruxelles, dans le domaine du conseil et des affaires publiques europ\u00e9ennes (Assoiate pour Schuman Associates).<\/p>

Il a \u00e9galement occup\u00e9 les fonctions de Directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de PlaNet Finance (Positive PlaNet maintenant) au S\u00e9n\u00e9gal, organisation internationale non-gouvernementale sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans la microfinance et pr\u00e9sid\u00e9e par Jacques Attali. Il a auparavant travaill\u00e9 dans la finance pour Archon France (Goldman Sachs) et Eurostockcity \u00e0 Paris.<\/p>

Sa sp\u00e9cialisation est la strat\u00e9gie et le d\u00e9veloppement d’affaires, le financement de projets en Afrique (l’Union europ\u00e9enne, la BEI, la Banque mondiale, la Banque Africaine de D\u00e9veloppement, les institutions financi\u00e8res des BRICS, les fonds souverains et les fondations mais aussi les private equities), les questions de d\u00e9veloppement et les relations publiques. Il a v\u00e9cu en France, en Afrique, en Belgique mais aussi en Arabie Saoudite dans sa jeunesse. Il a une approche globale et multiculturelle. Ses comp\u00e9tences allient les questions financi\u00e8res, juridiques et \u00e9conomiques \u00e0 une bonne connaissance des d\u00e9cideurs au plus haut niveau (Bruxelles, Paris, et en Afrique) et une capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 nouer une relation de travail avec ces d\u00e9cideurs (Ministres, chefs d’entreprise, hauts-fonctionnaires, militaires, ambassadeurs etc..) afin de faire avancer leurs projets. Il parle couramment fran\u00e7ais, anglais, et wolof, et comprend un peu l’arabe, l’espagnol, et le n\u00e9erlandais.<\/p>

Il est aussi Pr\u00e9sident l’ONG RAES, R\u00e9seau Africain d’Education pour la Sant\u00e9 (www.ongraes.org<\/a>\u00a0)<\/p>
