Born on April 4, 1973 (Nineteen seventy-three) in Bamako, Mohamed BA took a basic training in Business Management supplemented by a Master in Finance – Business Finance and Treasury.
His professional career is mainly banking in the BNP-Paribas Group after a stint in project management within the World Bank Group.
She began in 1999 (Nineteen ninety-nine) with the opening of the BNP Paribas subsidiary in Mali where he held various positions and responsibilities (Finance / Accounting, Audit, Corporate & Retail Banking, etc.) before joining the Inspection General de BNP Paribas in France for 2(two) years.
After the inspection, he was sent to Burkina Faso to the International Bank for Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Burkina (BICIAB) from 2015 (two thousand fifteen) to 2018 (two thousand eighteen) as Head of Retail Banking then to Senegal from 2018 (two thousand eighteen) to 2020 (two thousand twenty) at the International Bank for Commerce and Industry of Senegal (BICIS) still as Head of Retail Banking. These different experiences complete a particularly rich bankers career.
During his career at BNP Paribas, he has participated in various development projects, transformation of the banking network and strategic reorientation of subsidiaries in sub-Saharan Africa.
With the sale of BNP Paribas Group’s subsidiaries in several African countries in south of the Sahara, he held the position of Deputy CEO at BICIM before joining the VISTA Bank Group as Manager Director of Vista Bank Burkina.
