Guillaume Samnick is the founder of Heru Capital Partners, a London-based firm offering advisory and fund raising services to companies and promoters from sub-Saharan Africa looking to raise equity, equity-like, and/or debt financing. The firm also provide consultancy services to government entities and NGOs.
Prior to that, Mr Samnick was Vice President of Auctor Capital Partners, an advisory and co-investment firm funded by the private investment group Tamares. Mr Samnick was responsible for sourcing and arranging the firm’s co-investment opportunities (acquisition of minority or majority equity stakes in listed or unlisted companies) in Europe and sub-Saharan Africa.
Mr Samnick started his career as an investment banker for Bear Stearns and Wachovia Securities in London covering western European companies across various industries (consumer products, defence & aerospace, financial services, healthcare, media, metals & mining, oil & gas, power, real estate, and telecoms).
Mr Samnick holds an MSc in International Finance from HEC Paris.
