Serge Yanic NANA is President & CEO of FINANCIA Capital.
President of the Professional Association of Registered Stock Brokerage Companies in Central Africa.
Mr. NANA is a specialist in Project Finance, infrastructures finance, mining, energy, transport, insurance, and Public-Private Partnerships. Mr NANA was the Lead Advisor and Financial Advisor of the Government of Cameroon for strategic mining projects, a portfolio of projects worth over USD 10 billion in investments.
Mr NANA is a Consultant with the GIZ for on advising African countries on negotiations in the mining industry.
Mr. NANA started his career in Canada in 1995 with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company before joining Manulife Financial in Toronto. He pursued his career as a Senior Actuarial Associate in the USA with Hannover Life Reassurance company of America.
In 2003, he joined BMCE Capital, the investment-banking subsidiary of the Moroccan financial group BMCE, as Deputy General Manager for Western Africa based in Senegal. In 2007, he started the Central Africa operations of BMCE Capital based in Cameroon as General Manager. In 2013, he founed FINANCIA Capital and acquired the central Africa subsidiary of BMCE Capital. FINANCIA Capital is the first independent Financial Services Provider in Central Africa. In 2015, FINANCIA Capital obtained the Casablanca Finance Status through the opening of an office in Casablanca.
Mr. NANA holds a Master of Arts & Science in Statistics and Actuarial Science from Concordia University in Montreal, and a Master in Applied Mathematics from University Paris Diderot in Paris.
He attended primary school in Cameroon and secondary school in France where he obtains his baccalaureate at Lycee Janson de Sailly in Paris. His is born on December 28, 1969, married, with three children.
