Nancy Wildfeir-Field joined GBCHealth as President in the Summer of 2014. Having worked across the public, private and nonprofit sectors, she passionately believes in collaboration, cooperation and communication as the impetus for innovative, scaled and sustainable solutions for business and development challenges.

As President, Nancy oversees organizational strategy, operations and leads outreach to governments, multilateral organizations, foundations and companies to advance GBCHealth’s role as a hub of private sector collaboration and collective action for global health. GBCHealth’s mission remains focused on driving private sector input and investments towards the areas where business can have the greatest impact.

Nancy brings extensive international experience in both global health and the private sector. Most recently, she served as Director, Global Partnerships for BSR (Business for Social Responsibility) where she oversaw the highly regarded HERproject.

Prior to BSR, she brokered and managed a portfolio of partnerships for USAID in the Caribbean, Eastern Europe and Eurasia, while developing organizational capacity to create public-private partnership, achieving shared value for the private sector, the US government and national governments. She spearheaded the development of the Jamaican Business Council on HIV/Aids to fight stigma and discrimination in the workplace, collaborating closely with the Ministry of Health, the National AIDS program and committee, NGOs, business organizations and local and international business; this successful model was later expanded to other Eastern Caribbean islands.

Earlier, Nancy served as Managing Director for The Prince of Wales International Business Leaders Forum (IBLF), where she was architect, for the ‘Engage’ campaign, launched across four continents with the support of leading businesses and NGOs to share best practices and encourage alignment and consistency between CSR, employee engagement and country-based initiatives. Nancy has also held joint management responsibility for the health issues group at Burson-Marsteller, served as communications director for one of the UK’s largest medical associations, and as an independent consultant, managed a project implementation strategy for the UK Ministry of Health.

A Long Island, NY native, Nancy spent more than 20 years abroad, returning to the US in late 2011. She has lived in the U.K, Jamaica, Ukraine and Hungary, and has worked in more than 30 countries across multiple regions and industries, on a portfolio of issues.

Nancy is a graduate of Boston University.
