Ngabo Seli Mbogo
Former Minister of Finance and Budget

Mr. MBOGO Ngabo Seli has more than 20 years of experience in private sector, banking and public sector in west Africa, central Africa and in his native country, Chad.

After his graduation in 1998, he started to work in Burkina Faso in a bank, in national lottery and in and advertising private company. He joined headquarters of Bank of Central African States (BEAC) in Yaoundé (Cameroon) in 2002.

Seconded by BEAC to chadian administration between 2009 and 2017, he have been gradually appointed to higher positions in his country. After have being Chief of staff of Minister of Finance and Budget (from 2010 to 2013) and Chief of Staff of Minister of planning, urban development and housing he has been recruited as deputy managing director (COO) of Chadian branch of banking group Société Générale from 2014 to 2015.

Appointed in November 2015, as Minister of planning, urban development and housing he has been promoted from this position to Minister of Finance and Budget in August, 2016 to January, 2017.

He his currently Adviser to the National Director of BEAC in Chad and also Honorary member of African center for competitive intelligence (CAVIE).

Graduated in public relations and corporate communicataions, Mr. MBOGO also holds a MBA in strategic management, an executive certificate in strategy and many others courses certificates.

He is married and has four children.
